Starting high school with a desire to blend into the background, Kaboku Kotani has mastered the art of going along with his peers. Constantly dealing with a stutter that makes social interaction stressful, he firmly believes that keeping quiet is the safest path to avoid unwanted attention. However, everything shifts when he spots Hikari Wanda, a fellow first-year student completely absorbed in her own rhythm, dancing with absolute freedom as if nobody is watching. Captivated by her unapologetic expression and raw passion, Kaboku finds himself asking a life-changing question: could he ever experience that same liberation?

Driven by the desire to bridge the gap between himself and Wanda, Kaboku makes a courageous choice that shatters his routine of conformity by joining the school dance club. Through expressive movement and freestyle choreography, wandance explores the transformative journey of overcoming personal insecurities, finding one's true voice, and stepping out of the shadows. Blending rich emotional drama with the dynamic energy of sports storytelling, this series captures the beauty of personal growth where every single routine begins with a single step.
